OE Spinning Spare Parts Maintenance Checklist

Open-end rotor spinning maintenance is easier when spare parts are checked as a system. A rotor cup, insert, rotor spindle assembly, combing roller and card clothing profile each affect stability in a different way. Looking at only one component can miss the root cause of repeated stoppages or inconsistent performance.

Use this checklist before sending an RFQ. First, record the machine model and current part numbers. Second, check the rotor cup surface, diameter and coating code. Third, inspect the insert dimensions and wear pattern. Fourth, confirm whether the rotor spindle assembly runs smoothly. Fifth, review combing roller type and related balance references where available. Finally, match card clothing profile to material, such as cotton, wool, viscose, synthetic fiber or polyester blend.

A&I uses catalog data to support compatibility matching, but final selection should still be confirmed with machine nameplate, existing part number and photos. If a detail is unclear, mark it as TODO and confirm before bulk ordering.
