Frequently Asked Questions
How A&I supplies open-end rotor spinning spare parts — compatibility, quality, commercial terms and shipping. For anything not covered here, send an RFQ and our team will confirm.
What does A&I supply?
Open-end rotor spinning spare parts — rotor cups, rotor spindle assemblies, combing rollers, inserts, OE metal card clothing, navels, separators and related references. The site is a technical RFQ gateway, not a retail checkout.
How do you confirm compatibility?
By machine model, current part number, catalog reference, product category and, where available, photos of the installed part or machine nameplate. Legacy machine references are confirmed before quotation.
What should I include in an RFQ?
Company name, country, machine model, current part number, product category, required quantity, spinning material, and any photos of the installed part, label or nameplate.
Can you help if I don’t know the part number?
Yes. Send the machine model, product category, dimensions if available and clear photos — our team helps narrow the compatible range before quoting.
What is the difference between Elox and diamond-coated rotor cups?
Elox is an anodized surface treatment used on legacy or self-exhaust rotor cup applications. Diamond-coated rotor cups are for modern suction-type OE applications needing higher wear resistance, typically compared against Ni-P coated cup options. The right choice depends on machine model, cup material, fibre type, running condition and cost-per-kg target.
Does diamond coating last longer?
Diamond-coated rotor cups support higher wear resistance and a more stable working surface in the rotor’s collecting groove, where fibres gather and the yarn is twisted at high speed — which generally improves service life and yarn quality versus lesser-coated cups. A&I does not publish a fixed numeric multiplier; actual performance depends on fibre mix, mill conditions, maintenance and matching accuracy, and is best evaluated against Ni-P or other modern wear-resistant options.
What is the MOQ?
Many catalog parts can be supplied from stock with low or no minimum. Items needing new production carry an MOQ by product type. The exact MOQ is confirmed per RFQ.
Can I request samples?
Yes — sample requests are reviewed once the machine model, part number and application are confirmed.
What is the lead time?
Confirmed per order. It depends on the product, quantity, product mix, stock-versus-production status and the busy/slack season.
What payment terms are available?
Standard terms are T/T 30% deposit and 70% before shipment, confirmed on the order.
Is pre-shipment inspection available?
Yes. A&I performs a pre-shipment check of packing, labelling and visual condition, and can provide an inspection report or photos on request.
How does shipping and export support work?
A&I supports export-oriented RFQs. Shipping method, freight cost, destination requirements and export documents are confirmed per order and destination.
What if a quality or compatibility issue appears?
Keep the part, packaging, photos and order reference, then contact A&I for review. Warranty, return process and acceptance criteria are confirmed in the quotation or sales contract for each order — the approach used by leading OE parts suppliers.
Can you provide certificates or compliance documents?
A&I does not list certifications it cannot substantiate. If your market or company requires a specific document, state it in the RFQ and we will confirm availability before quotation.
