A&I Navel R4 is a false-twist element for open-end rotor spinning. The navel sits at the rotor outlet and imparts the false twist that stabilises the spun yarn as it is drawn off; the bore geometry — entry diameter D1 and throat diameter D2 — together with the surface finish influence yarn evenness, hairiness and running stability.
